An answer slot crosses (intersects) several other slots that are perpendicular to its direction. | |
You can select a slot by clicking it or using arrow keys in the grid. When a slot is selected, you can type letters into its cells using the keyboard. | |
You can also fill in a slot by picking a suggestion from the matches list. This list shows all known words and phrases that can fit in the selected slot. To help you choose words, it automatically runs what-if scenarios and ranks the words based on the results. | |
Auto Fill attempts to fill the entire grid with words or phrases from the answer dictionary. | |
The answer dictionary stores a huge list of words and phrases. You can type any word you want into the grid yourself, but to show up in the matches list or in Auto Fill, a word must be added to the dictionary. | |

When you're done with a puzzle, you can print it or export it as an HTML web page. You can choose to show the solution or to leave the grid blank. | |
